Contemporary art exhibit of 10 Davao women artists
TEN prominent women artists are banding together to mount an exhibit of contemporary art at The Royal Mandaya Hotel starting Saturday until December 8.

Dubbed "Symmetry of Spirit," the exhibit opens at 6:30 Saturday night.
The exhibit features the works of Josie Tionko, Tita Ayala, Carlota de Pio, Margot Marfori, Mary Ann Tan, Dadai Joaquin, Cynthia Alexander, Tetel Tionko, Bina Balchand, and Lourdes Simpol.
The exhibit is curated by noted painter Vic Secuya.
The opening will also be highlighted by a mini-concert by Cynthia Alexander, who aside from being a painter is also a popular singer-songwriter.
There will also be poetry reading by Davao poets and guitar music by the band 220.
Guests of honor are Annie Tan, Maricel Beng Hui, Elmer Chua, Gabriel and Marissa
Atega, Alberto and Charito Alano, and Hunson and Connie Co.
